The Human Printer, founded by Louise Naunton Morgan, is a group of artists who uses markers to emulate the printing process. The group reproduces photos by painstakingly ‘printing’ images by hand - dot by dot – in CMYK or B&W to recreate the halftone printing effect of conventional printers.
As explained on the site, The Human Printer assumes the role of the machine and is therefore controlled and restricted by the process of using CMYK halftone created on the computer. The site even goes as far as to list other Human Printer "models," providing a short description of each one's particular printing style and character traits.

Estonia pematung Mati Karmin menciptakan perabot dan peralatan rumah tangga lainnya dari berkarat laut tambang "Blok" pulih dari benteng bekas-Soviet pada Naissaar Island, sebuah pulau di lepas pantai Estonia Finlandia.
Pulau Naissaar selalu tertarik penguasa Estonia. Dengan ereksi dari objek militer pertama - baterai meriam - pada 1705 sampai pecahnya Perang Dunia I, berbagai benteng militer didirikan dan baterai meriam diletakkan. Sebuah pabrik besar untuk perakitan tambang laut di tengah pulau itu juga beroperasi. Selama tahun 1990-an tentara Soviet membakar bahan peledak dari ranjau yang disimpan dan dalam rangka kerja, meninggalkan banyak kasus yang tersebar di seluruh. Banyak dari mereka dibawa ke daratan sebagai scrap-besi selama pembersihan pulau. Mati Karmin berhasil menyelamatkan beberapa di antaranya berubah menjadi kursi yang nyaman, tempat tidur, bak mandi dan bahkan kereta bayi!
